A glimpse into my workday

This evening, I’m taking you along on shift 536: a shunting shift that also features ICNG. We start with a small job I took over from a colleague. After that, the evening doesn't go exactly as listed on the schedule.

In this episode

A small job from a colleague

We start the shift with work that I have taken over from a colleague.

A changing schedule

Some jobs are cancelled, while others go ahead. The shunting coordinator also assigns extra tasks.

Shunting with electric traction

You observe the shunting operations in the yard. The ICNG also operates in this service.

A question from a viewer

In between work, I answer a viewer question.
