Approved or not!

My Medical Examination was scheduled for today... Am I approved or not?!?

Today, the medical examination, also known as the M.O., was on the agenda. I had to undergo this M.O. again to regain my train driving license following the sleep apnea diagnosis.

The appointment was scheduled for 13:50 hours, so I left the house in good spirits at 12:50 hours for a drive that, according to Google Maps, would take 35 minutes.. That didn't quite go as planned...

At the time the appointment started, I was still on my way—well, "on my way" is a big word, because I had already been standing still in the middle of the intersection at the Rijnhaven for 15 minutes, and before that, I had seen dozens of side streets in Rotterdam South to avoid the traffic jams heading towards the city center. It was to no avail.. Rotterdam South was a massive traffic gridlock, and after contacting the ArboUnie by phone, I finally arrived around 14:15 at the office where my medical examination was supposed to take place 25 minutes earlier...

I went inside anyway, hoping they still had a spot for me, but unfortunately, the verdict was unforgiving. You are too late, so you must make a new appointment.

So the inspection didn't take place today and hopefully I can get an appointment again soon, and then I think I'll just book a little hotel the evening before at 5 minutes from the inspection location or something whahahaha

In the end, I stopped by Rotterdam Centraal briefly, and the journey home afterwards also took me well over an hour due to all the traffic jams, but as for the inspection... 2beContinued...
